Arcera Life Sciences reports progress on sustainability and responsible growth in 2025
Abu Dhabi, UAE, September 14, 2026 – Arcera Life Sciences, an international life sciences company established by ADQ, today announced the publication of its 2025 Sustainability Report, highlighting significant progress in integrating sustainability across its operations and advancing its commitment to responsible growth, patient access and operational resilience.
The report reflects Arcera’s unified sustainability approach following the integration of its three legacy companies, creating a common framework for governance, environmental stewardship and business responsibility across the organization.
2025 was a defining year for Arcera as we came together as One Arcera, united by a shared purpose and ambition to improve lives through sustainable growth,” said Isabel Afonso, CEO of Arcera Life Sciences. The report highlights progress across Arcera’s four sustainability pillars:
- Climate Action: Arcera accelerated energy efficiency and decarbonization across its manufacturing network through renewable energy initiatives, facility upgrades and the expansion of its Smart Lab program.
- Access to Medicines: Arcera served an estimated 2.44 million patients across more than 100 countries in 2025, supported by strategic partnerships and licensing agreements that expanded access to therapies in infectious diseases, neuroscience, oncology and rare diseases.
- Responsible Operations: In 2025, 78% of non-hazardous packaging waste was recycled, supported by structured waste management practices, employee awareness and ISO 14001-certified sites.
- People, Communities & Governance: Arcera strengthened its governance framework through a unified Code of Ethics, enhanced anti-bribery and anti-corruption controls, and the introduction of a new Speak-Up Line. In 2025, 100% of operations were assessed for anti-bribery and anti-corruption risks, while 98.6% of employees completed related training on time.
